Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre is casting “All Shook Up”, a jukebox musical set to the music of Elvis Presley in which William Shakespeare meets James Dean.

Runs April 9-June 5, 2010 in Frederick, MD.

CASTING:

Natalie/Ed: mid-20s to early 30s, mechanic, alto;

Chad: mid 20s-30s, good looking, motorcyclist, leather-jacketed roustabout, baritone;

Miss Sandra: mid-20s to 30s, beautiful, intellectual caretaker of the town’s museum, alto; Jim: 40s-50s, Natalie’s widowed father, baritone;

Sylvia: 40s-50s, African-American, no-nonsense owner of Sylvia’s Honky Tonk, belt;

Lorraine: 18 to early 20s, Sylvia’s daughter, belt;

Dennis: 18 to early 20s, young, awkward, aspiring dentist, tenor;

Mayor Matilda Hyde: 40s-50s, town’s conservative mayor, alto;

Dean: 18 to early 20s, Mayor’s son, Lorraine’s boyfriend, military school cadet, tenor;

Sheriff Earl: 40+, the law in town, man of very few words, baritone;

Chorus: 18+, the townspeople, various ranges.
