Worked with Mask Acting or Commedia Dell Arte Before? Never have, but interested in learning?
Lady Charis’ is a performance troupe dedicated to creating unique performance experiences by collaboratively adapting and re-contextualizing classic texts.
Seeking musicians who act, actors who play instruments, and singers.
Taking a reductionist approach to the Bard’s many plays, this production will be presenting a condensed version of all the tragedies, in three episodes.
Casting collaborative performers with unusual talents and a strong spirit of play,
with an interest in performing adaptations of classic texts re-imagined for contemporary audiences.
Previous training in mask acting not required, but a willingness to experiment, learn and explore is a MUST!
Auditions will be held on Friday, Jan 15th at 6PM and Saturday, Jan 16th at 3PM, or by arrangement.
Auditions will be held at CTAG Studio at the Berubians Theater, 5388 N Long Beach Blvd., Long Beach, CA.
