Christian Youth Theater presents The Wizard of Oz. A young farm girl named Dorothy finds a twister that carries her over the rainbow and into the land of Oz. There she meets a scarecrow with no brain, a tin man with no heart and a lion with no courage. Together they embark down the yellow brick road to meet the Wizard, destroy the Wicked Witch of the West and find a way home. This classic tale is presented larger than life in a way that will make you fall in love with the land of Oz all over again.
Auditions: Dec 4, 09 5:30-8:30 pm: Westminster Presbyterian Church, 10 N. Edgelawn, Aurora
Call Backs: Dec 5, 2009 9:30-2:00 pm: Westminster Presbyterian Church, 10 N. Edgelawn, Aurora
Rehearsal Locations: Westminster Presbyterian Church, 10 N. Edgelawn, Aurora
Rehearsals: Fridays 5:30 -9:00 pm; Saturdays 9:30-2:00 pm
Show Dates: February 25-28. 2010 at Oswego East HS PAC
School Shows: February 25 & 26, 2010 at 9:30 & 11:45 each day
Who: Seeking all kids ages 8-18. All roles open.
Prepare: 1- minute song of your choice incorporating movement or dance. If you would prefer, you can do a 1 minute monologue or dance. Bring accompaniment CD. No pianist available. Readings and additional dance will be done at callbacks.
