MTV Auditions for True Life
Are you dating someone who hangs out with an entirely different crowd than you do? Is your significant other from a different class or social standing?
Perhaps one of you lives among the wealthy and privileged while the other is struggling to get by. What kinds of pressures or problems do you encounter due to your conflicting backgrounds? Maybe one of you is involved in a particular subculture and you stick out like a sore thumb around each other’s peers.
Do either of you feel unwelcome when you’re with the other’s friends? Do they think you shouldn’t be together? Or could it be that you find it difficult to socialize as a couple because your partner is much older than you?
True Life, the award-winning documentary series, is casting for a new episode about what it’s like to date outside your social circle.
