Searching for host for Kitchen Makeover TV Show

is searching for a Host for a New Kitchen Makeover Show on a National Cable Network
Magnetic Productions is creating a new kitchen makeover series for a national cable network.
This kitchen show will feature new products & creative ideas that can transform a kitchen without spending a lot of money. Many of the projects will be quick fix-ups, others will be total makeovers. No matter how extensive the project, the focus will be on getting the most bang for the buck.
Searching for Host: Union or Non-Union
We are casting for a high energy host. Male or female. Shooting will be in the Minneapolis area. The series will feature homeowners doing the work, so host will be a combination coach & teacher. We’re looking for a host who is outgoing & confident, with a great sense of humor and real personality.
We need some or all of the following attributes:
Knowledge of interior design – kitchen design in particular.
Excellent handyperson or pro remodeling skills.
Experience on camera – or at least comfortable on camera.

We prefer NOT to see actor reels! We need to “see” the person as our Host! Sending a link (YouTube video, etc) of any hosting, remodeling (or mock remodeling project) is best! If you shoot a demo, include an interview about your design/remodeling experience, and a standup to camera about the work you’re doing, preferably in a kitchen.
Imagine that you’re going to remodel the kitchen you’re standing in. Tell us what’s wrong with the kitchen now and give us a few cool ideas on how you’re going to improve it—with the help of the homeowners.
We’re looking for fun energy and wit. Don’t take yourself too seriously, have fun with it. Be a little ‘snarky’—be opinionated! If you’ve done remodeling before, make sure that comes across.
Interview. Make sure this is medium closeup. Get closer to camera and make sure you get good audio. Look just off camera and answer these questions. Again, we’re looking for great energy, in your face, almost over the top. Have fun with it!!
