Casting Call Details:
Casting 2 women and 2 men for a short film (drama/comedy) to be shot in July in the Pacific Beach neighborhood of San Diego.
This is a low budget, non-paid, non-union project. Copies of final film, unedited footage (if requested), and food will be provided.
There will be 2-4 days of filming over the course of a month, with the exact dates to be determined in the coming weeks.
BASIC PREMISE: A reserved married couple attempts to reinvigorate their relationship on their anniversary.
1st FEMALE : 25-35 yrs, homely in appearance, conservative demeanor, pleasant but uptight
1st MALE: 25-35 yrs, clean cut, slim-medium build, congenial, easy going, somewhat oblivious
2nd FEMALE: 35-45 yrs, sassy, out-going, free-spirited, confident
2nd MALE: 35-45 yrs, medium-athletic build, rugged, confident, charming
NOTE: Kissing scenes, but NO nudity (PG-13 script)
EQUIPMENT/FORMAT: High Def Camera (HVX200A), 24p, FCP
The movie is expected to run 25-30 minutes when completed. It primarily takes place in one setting and is very theatrical in style/format (i.e. actor driven).
Ideally looking for actors who are enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to make the characters their own.
