Casting Call for Independent film being shot in Philadelphia
I am currently casting for a independent film (Dramedy) that will be shot in Philly late Jan 2010. This is a short that will be shopped in order to create a full feature. I am casting principles and extras. Auditions will be held during the 2nd week of Jan 2010.
Here is what I need:
Jason-mid 30s MUST sing and play guitar singer/songwriter a plus) Musician, angry, lives in the city, good natured, eccentric, city dwellers.
Rene-late 20s (open ethnicity) Artist type, free-spirited, supportive of her man’s crazy ideas.
Abby-(7-8 yrs) Precocious, inquisitive, not bratty (Gill & Cheryl daughter)
Cheryl-mid 30s,”high end” type, with a dark side
Gill-early 30s,”high end” type, type A, unassuming hustler (Cheryl’s husband)
Pauline-mid 30s “high end” type,older sister to Cheryl
John-late 30s “high ende” type (Pauline’s husband) Busperson-late teens
Kate-late 20s-early 30s -Vivacious, friendly, brainy, reserved emotionally
Mr . Abraham-late 60s early 70s, Frail but wise, unassuming
Ben-late 20s early 30s- MUST play guitar and sing (singer/songwriter a plus) Shy, musician, sensitive wallflower type, intense emotionally (just beneath the surface)
Amelia-mid 30s-Sarcastic, sardonic sense of humor, good friend of Kate
Customer-med student type mid 20s
