WANTED: Female lead for serious indie feature film, “Terminal” (Kansas City area)

COMPENSATION: $16,000
NEVER2LATE Productions (”Works in Progess”), is accepting inquiries for the lead role (”Kara”) of its second feature film, “Terminal,” to be shot in Kansas City from late August 2010 to December 2010.
“Terminal” is a dark, yet ultimately redeeming drama that follows the lives of three souls: a district attorney dying of a brain tumor; an illegal immigrant accused of raping and murdering a child; and a streetwise young woman with a devastating secret, as they suffer the anguish of living lives without hope, before finally experiencing the surpassing power of love and forgiveness. In but a single word, “Terminal” is a story of redemption.
“Terminal” is set in the present day (with brief flashbacks), will be filmed in the Kansas City area, and will be rated PG-13 (for violence, mature themes, and disturbing images).
The following describes the role in question:
KARA: The lead female role in the film, the actor for this part must be a female between the ages of 19 and 26. Weight must be, at a minimum, proportional to height tending toward thin. This role will be extremely demanding, features a very broad range of acting capabilities, and will require a very significant time commitment for rehearsals and production. Salary will be $16,000 for the four month shooting schedule.
“Terminal” is an extraordinary opportunity for the right young actress. “Terminal” is a 100% drug-free production. Non-smokers only need apply. “Terminal” is a non-union production.
