PRINCESS TRIXIE BROOKS- Arrogant, self centered, delusional. She is the main character and, therefore, has a softer side but keeps it hidden. She dresses outrageously and her wavy hair is streaked with color. Wears dark clothing in arena.
MARCUS- Tall, handsome but deeply troubled. She is Trixie’s love interest.
MORI- Trixie’s closest friend, if you can call her that. The two fight constantly and do not get along.
LES- Easy-going. Likeable. He and Mori are romantically involved.

THE RED RUM RUNNERS
PITBULL- Leader of the team. Abrasive, cocky, believes in winning at all costs. A big, powerful youngster who’s made his way up from the streets. Knows how to cheat to win.
MAD COW- Second in command. Although she is as tough as Pit Bull, she has a conscience and uses it to tone Pit Bull down. She is the only one who can calm his rage.
DEATH ROW- A weasel of a boy. Sneaky. Suspicious.
QUIET MAN- As his name implies, he rarely speaks.

Plot synopsis: Eliott Alsoran is a weakened man due to his wife’s and her recent decision to divorce him. His son, Riley, is still very young and sees the world through childlike eyes, wanting only for his father to be happy. When Eliott discovers that his wife, Sophia, may be infatuated with another man, he begins a desperate journey with his son to find the perfect gift for her. In the end, Eliott is left to discover that it’s not always about what we want but what we need, while Riley begins his journey to adulthood, leaving a small part of his childhood behind him.

ROLES:

Eliott Alsoran: A heavy hearted man currently struggling through a divorce, which he does not want, from his wife. He has a seven year old son named Riley who he loves dearly. Eliott is at the breaking point concerning his wife and he’ll do anything possible to convince her to stay. He believes she is seeing another man when she begins frequently wearing the man’s sweater jacket. Eliott’s quest in this story is to take his son out and simply find that sweater jacket to purchase for his wife. As Riley watches his father, he begins to understand that Eliott is so broken that he’s been reduced to a sweater as his last hope. Looking for a male of any race or ethnicity and anywhere between late twenties to late forties.

Riley Alsoran: A young boy of about 7 who just wants his dad to be happy. Riley has generally been a carefree boy in his young life and currently faces an uncertain future. Riley goes on a journey with his father to find the perfect gift for his mom while trying to understand why his father grows increasingly distraught. Looking for a young boy between the ages of 7 to 12, any race or ethnicity.

Sophia Alsoran: A strong willed woman, independent and loving. She is currently in the midst of a divorce from her husband Eliott, stating she is simply not in love with him. Thought people blame Sophia for the effects of her divorce on her family, she remains steadfast in her decision. Sophia loves her son and wants what’s best for him despite his confusion over her choice to divorce Riley’s father.

Production Title: Trammel

Synopsis:

Trammel is a short film being shot in Atlanta November 13-15. The word “trammel” is a noun used to describe something that restricts activity, expression, or progress. It is the story about a man named David, who re-tells to a psychiatrist his “trammel”: the horrific death and brutal murder of the one person he cared about most, his mother. But soon, the events that took place that one fateful night bring back with it ghosts from the past.

David (between ages 9-11, African American) A smart energetic kid who has a special interest in police cars and police paraphernalia. When he grows up, he would like to be a cop so he can protect his only surviving parent, his mother.

Synopsis:
A group of not-so-popular high school friends get the opportunity to throw a college party at one of their houses. Things go awry when one of the frat guys turns out to be a jerk, the band gets too high to play, alcohol is flowing, inhibitions are lost, and friendships are challenged. They experience mishaps and gain insight throughout the night. In the end, they’ve had quite an adventure and realize that things aren’t always as they seem and the grass isn’t always necessarily greener at a college party.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWNS:

Shaquille (Shaq) (18, a little awkward but likeable) High school senior.
He is a white boy through and through but was given a not-so-white name by
his overly politically correct parents. High strung. Thought that high
school sucked he was a loser there and thinks that if he can get into the
right college and in with the right group, his life will change.
His contact to that college is Brett, a douche bag that Shaquille knows
b/c their parents are friends.
Best friends with Sideshow and Chelsea.
He made out once or twice with Chelsea he’s more into the relationship
than her, though he tries to act cool.

Sideshow (18, stoner) High school senior. Best friends with Shaq and
Chelsea.
Sideshow has a crush on Chelsea’s older sister, Rebecca.

Chelsea (to play 17, attractive) High school junior. Good friends with
Sideshow and Shaq. She has made out with Shaq a couple times they have
kept this a secret from Sideshow b/c they think he’ll freak out.
She’s a musician and has a band (with Bridget and Alexa). The 3-girl band
won an Air Band Competition so people think that’s all they can do for
now, anyway.  No one at school really knows who she is she’s managed to
stay under the radar even though she’s really pretty.
She’s insecure but needs to find that confidence if she’s going to make it
in music.

Brett (18-22) The college guy that Shaq is trying to impress with this
party. Brett is in a big frat and sits on the fraternity scholarship
committee.

Rover (mid 20s  mid 30s) Sideshow’s pot dealer; still tries to hang
with the younger crowd. He’s a little more on the paranoid side than the
typical laid back weed dealer guy.

Jessica (18-22, very pretty, looks like a pageant girl) Was the head
cheerleader/homecoming queen in high school. Now a college freshman and
seemingly has her glory days behind her.

Bridget (17, edgy, attractive) One of the girls in Chelsea’s band.

Alexa (17, attractive) One of the girls in Chelsea’s band.

Sage (7-11, could be a girl or boy) Chelsea’s little sister, a
precocious child who catches Shaquille in a compromising position early in
the film.

Van Horn (17-18) The Affliction-wearing tool that gets an invite to Brett’s party.

Chin Chin (attractive girl; to play 14) Van Horn’s younger girlfriend.

A 13 year old boy, who his mom describe as “special”. He seems to think his relatives have it out for him, every night he would dream that they would kill him some mysterical way and before his mind let this happens, he kills them in the way he imagined or dreamed.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:

Tim: male, (African American 16-17) Older Brother of the lead. he picks on him a lot and really has no respect for him. Popular, Very confident and has high hopes of doing everything better of his family.

Lynette: Female, (African American 14-15) Older sister of the lead. Another sibling who picks on him, but sisterly. She also is popular and a cheerleader. She know where she is going and plan to stick to the plan. her role is vital to show how both relatives hate his existence.

Mom: Female,(African American 35-40) The mother of the tribe. Her role basically thinks that of best interest in her child she should hide his medical condition. She is also very protective of the lead. Although she is protective over one she loves each equal.

Aaron: Male (African American 8-9) The youngest brother. His role is a featured extra, although he doesn’t say much he still know what’s going on.

Miss Jenkins: Female (Open ethnicity 25-30) The Teacher of the lead. she has a driven talent to make sure her students succeed. she also is a featured extra.

Mandy: Male (Open Ethnicity 13-14) He is the best friend of the lead. He doesn’t know what’s going on but he will by his best friend.

We also need extras for the school scene.
