Hope Operas Auditions for the 2012 season – Washington, DC
Casting Call Details:
Hope Operas is having auditions for the 2012 season Monday, August 13th from 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM at the Comedy Spot in Ballston Mall in Arlington, VA, (4238 Wilson Blvd., Arlington 22203). Please prepare a one-minute comic monologue and 16 bars acapella uptempo or belter ballad. To schedule an appointment please contact Chris Griffin via the submission form below.
Hope Operas is now in its 4th season. We will be running Monday nights October 1st through 29th at the Comedy Spot. Every year we premiere 5 new plays in episodic format. Each night each show puts up a 10- to 15-minute episode and each show is tied to a local nonprofit. At the end of the night the audience votes for their favorite show and moneys are distributed to the nonprofits based on how well their benefactor show did …in the vote. This year we are doing all musicals!:
