Story:
Scavengers is a short ten minute film that is a hybrid of the post apocalyptic and musical genres. It combines hard rock, broadway, and 50’s style music to create a unique sound. The story takes place twenty years in the future after war and nuclear weapons have taken out most of the worlds population. Humanity is left to scrounge around to survive. The main character is a scavenger who is a loner and roams around looking for food. One day he comes across a giant stash of food, but just as he starts to celebrate he is interrupted by a group of scavengers who raid and kill for their food. He is then forced to fight for his life while singing. The entire film showcases a collection of original songs.
