Overview:
On the heels of his award-winning Independent Film Channel hit, “Breaking Up With Maggie Moore,” critically acclaimed director David Burkman (MFA, University of Southern California) is in Washington, D.C. to produce a high octane, edgy thrill ride HAZE, a feature film that depicts the brutality of fraternity hazing.
Logline: In the aftermath of a fraternity hazing death, a vengeful student’s campaign to dismantle the Greek system is compromised when his younger brother decides to pledge.

Cast Breakdown:
The following characters are all Caucasian college students; actors should be between the ages of 18-24.
Nick: College freshman. Extremely handsome, athletic. Quarterback, prom king type. Every girl wants to date him; every guy wants to be him.
Pete: Nick’s brother. College sophomore. Good looking, but doesn’t care.
Taylor: College senior. Very androgynous features. Luscious lips and long dark eyelashes. Not so feminine that women wouldn’t find him sexy. Cillian Murphy or Jonathan Rhys Meyers type.
Sophie: College senior. Hotter than hell. Dresses very sexy and classy. Not slutty. Sorority Queen. Banging bod, and she knows it. Manipulative.
Mimi: College freshman. Quintessential girl next door. Much prettier than she gives herself credit for. Shy. Very approachable.
Shooting is currently scheduled for June 2008 in the Washington, DC area.
