Auditions for the Broadway Musical “Oliver!”: seeking adult and children performers
McLean Commity Players auditions for the Broadway Musical “Oliver!” Saturday, April 18, Sunday April 19 and Tuesday April 21 at The McLean Community Center 1234 Ingleside Avenue, McLean VA 22101.
CASTING FOR:
Approximately 22 adult performers to cover 6 principal singing and acting roles and 16 featured singing and acting ensemble roles.
Approximately 10 children performers to cover 2 principal singing roles and 8 featured children ensemble roles. NOTE: The children roles are all written to be “boys”, however the staff will consider teen and young female auditioners if they are willing to play onstage as “boys”.
AUDITON SCHEDULE:
Saturday, April 18 – Children Audition sign up begins at 10AM continues until 2PM (Adults wanting to audition on this date should call 703.975.7563 to schedule a time)
Sunday, April 19 – Adult Audition sign up begins at 2PM continues until 6PM (Children wanting to audition on this date should call 703.975.7563 to schedule a time)
Tuesday, April 21 – Children and Audult Audition sign up begins at 7:30PM continues until 10PM
Wednesday, April 22 – INVITATION ONLY CALL BACK 7:30PM
WHAT TO BRING:
Auditioners should be prepared to sing and should bring sheet music, an accompanist will be provided. Auditioners will be permitted to sing using electronic devices (CD or IPOD or MP3) but you must provide your own CD player or IPOD, MP3 device.
MISC:
An invitation only call back audition is schedule for Wednesday evening, April 22.
McLean Community Players is an all volunteer organization there is no pay for performers.
