Casting Call Details:
“The United States of China” is a new play that was initially presented as a reading in Seattle Center in 2015. It is now casting both union and non-union actors for the staged version of the play to be presented in Seattle in the Spring of 2016.
The plot of the play centers on the trial of Miriam Hopkins, who at the time of America’s takeover by China as a result of trillions of dollars of debt to China, turns from being an anti-American terrorist to an American patriot fighting against the takeover of her country.

Asian-American female, age range 32 – 45, to play the defense attorney.
Asian-American males, age range 22 – 30, to play Chinese prison guards.
Caucasian female, age range 33 – 40, to play defendant.
