Free Casting Calls and Auditions

The graduates of Seattle Central Community College in conjunction with an up and coming director are looking to cast a short film to SHOOT THE FIRST WEEK OF AUGUST. All early morning/day shoots in Seattle Washington on Capitol Hill.

Entitled The Confession, the short follows the journey of an anti social male on the day he decides to turn over a new leaf. His decision turns deadly for an old ‘friend’.

“A secret between two people is best kept when one of them is dead.”

It is a non-paying gig, but you will be fed on set and transportation will be worked out for you if needed. It is a good opportunity to break into the business and meet an up and coming film crew. Great reel material as well.

AUDITIONS: Tuesday July 1st, 12:00pm-8:00pm
Wednesday July 2nd, 10:00am-5:00pm

MALE ROLES:

Carson: An introvert. He his gawky and awkward and struggles to be accepted both physically and socially. He has a history of mental illness. He is in his early twenties.

Brian: An extrovert. He is cocky, attractive, and in his early twenties. He is always up on the newest fad, newest girl, and newest car. He has no respect for anyone and it shows in every ounce of his speech. (Must be comfortable with vulgarity)

FEMALE ROLES:

Jogger: An athletic and attractive woman who turns Brian down.

Stephanie: The ‘girl next door’, preferably with blonde or red hair, but not necessary. Carson’s love interest and obsession.

EXTRAS:

People of all ages needed to be the family and friends outside of a church funeral service and at a park. All black summer attire as well as colorful park attire will be necessary but we can accommodate costuming.
