CASTING for 16mm Short Student Film at the Seattle Film Institute:

OPEN CALL AUDITIONS on Saturday, May 3rd, 10AM-5PM @ The Seattle Film
Institute, 1709 23rd Ave., Seattle, WA, next to the Safeway.

TITLE: Tilting at Windmills
GENRE: Drama
LENGTH: 10-15 minutes

This story is loosely based on Miguel de Cervantes’ DON QUIXOTE DE LA MANCHA

SYNOPSIS: Sonny is an aimless young man working full time at a bookstore.
When his boss, Quinn, the store’s aging and eccentric owner, is forced to
face his mortality, the old man loses all sense of reason and reality, and
Sonny soon finds himself entangled in Quinn’s flight of fancy as a
modern-day Don Quixote.

CAST:
Quinn – Male lead, age 50-75. Any ethnicity, preferably Caucasian.

Sonny – Male lead, age 20-35. Any ethnicity, on the huskier side.

Andy – Male supporting, age 25-40. Any ethnicity, preferably Caucasian.
Quinn’s straight-edge, business-oriented son.

Sweetpea – Female supporting, age 35-55. Any ethnicity. A feisty local
barmaid.

UNPAID. Copy and meals Provided. Shooting dates TBA in early June (weekends
