Casting Calls in Seattle, WA: Casting male/female movement artists for upcoming production of Mozart’s The Magic Flute

Seattle Opera is holding auditions for actor/movement artists for its upcoming production of Mozart’s The Magic Flute.

Casting for the following fantasy animals roles:

– Six women clothing sizes 2-4 and 6-8 with excellent movement/tumbling skills to play: a Crocodile, a Griffin, two Monkeys, Rhino (front and back), and a Chinese Dragon.

– Six men 6’0″-6’02” tall with defined, muscular builds, and excellent movement skills to play Egyptian Anubis characters and a Chinese Dragon. Dance background a plus.

– One child 9-12 years of age, no taller than 5’04” with good gymnastic skills to play an Emu.

Positions are paid. Head shot and resume required at audition.

Audition is Monday December 13, 7pm.
