Abney Park seeks Dancer/backup singer. Travel+Pay+Fans+Steampunk! (Seattle)
Abney Park is the world’s most popular Steampunk band. We have been featured on MTV, G4 TV, King 5, The New York Times, the LA Times and many others. We perform mostly in the US, but at least once a year will play in the UK or other parts of Europe, and our talking about playing Japan.
We need a new dancer/backup singer. Dancing styles range from Belly Dancing, to Modern, to Ballet. Style will have some freedom, as you will be responsible for your own “choreography”, however we are not looking for a “Choreographed” feel. We need “dancing as PART of the show, not the center of attention”.

We play shows once or twice a month, or occasionally we’ll have two shows in a weekend. We rehearse once or twice a week as needed to prep for shows.
The pay varies and can be very good, but even at its worst you make hundreds of dollars a show. We can discuss pay further when we talk, as you might prefer a flat fee per show.
