Seeking Lead Female to STAR in Music Video – SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY

We are looking for an exceptional female actor / actress, age 18-30, to be the LEAD/STAR of a comedy music video spoof that will be an online viral ad for a jewelry product. Unlike most female casting calls for music videos, this is NOT a “featured hot girl” role in another artist’s music video. You will literally be the STAR of the music video, appearing in nearly every scene and lip-syncing/performing the entire song as if it were your own. You will have a supporting cast. The video will be professionally lighted, shot in HD, and high production value.

This project is being produced by a San Francisco-based production company. Our previous similar projects have garnered over 10 million views across the internet, been featured on the homepages of Yahoo, YouTube, College Humor, and many others, and have been broadcast on National TV.

The role will likely include the following:
- acting out several scenes of a storyline with other cast (not a speaking role – it’s a music video)
- lip-syncing and dancing to an entire rock song (must be convincing)
- playing an acoustic guitar and an electric guitar (not actually playing, but must be convincing)
- action scenes: running, jumping, possibly getting dirty, stage-fighting with and killing ZOMBIES in creative ways
- green screen studio
- most importantly: being sexy and commanding the camera’s attention like a Rock star

Location: San Francisco.

Pay: $300-$600 (dependent on other casting – TBD). You will also get DVD Copy and Credit.

Time Commitment: 3-4 days of shooting likely in late September or Early-Mid October. (Potentially 5-6 days commitment if you are traveling from L.A..) You must be available for all days of shooting, tentatively from 9am-7pm. Exact dates and times will be provided closer to production.

Requirements: You must be beautiful, sexy, slender, confident, outgoing, and have a great sense of humor (among other things). You must also be brunette, or willing to dye your hair brown for the role. If you pass the first round of email submissions, you will need to do a brief phone interview. If you pass that second round, we will do an in-person audition (in S.F. or L.A.) including acting out a scene and doing some lip-syncing and air guitar playing. If you get the role, you should be prepared to bring you own wardrobe, do your own make-up/hair and provide your own touch-ups (though we may also have a dedicated make-up artist on-set). You will also need to sign a standard contract before production if you are offered the role.

Accommodations: During production, we will provide water, snacks and mild pampering. If you live in San Francisco: we will pay for your meals during production. If you live in Los Angeles: we will fly you up to San Francisco and cover your: travel expenses, 3-4 nights in a hotel, and meals during production.

Other Notes: Again, you must be brunette or willing to dye your hair brown for the role. Please don’t apply if you can’t do this. The crew always has a lot of fun shooting, but we’re serious about our work. The ambitiousness of the shooting schedule will require that you be professional, respectful, and very efficient.

We expect to receive a lot of interest in this project – please only apply if you are very serious about the role, are able to commit to 3-4 days of shooting in S.F., and have a strong work ethic for potentially long and tiring days of shooting.
