Free Casting Calls and Auditions

Dreamstar Parties Inc. is a full service children’s entertainment company casting for amazing performers ready for fun and rewarding work on a flexible schedule. We service 3 major markets: Entire Bay Area (CA), Sacramento Region (CA) and Seattle/Entire Puget Sound Region (WA). Right now we have several openings for the Bay Area branch. As performers it is our privilege to wow little audiences with a great selection of activities such as Face Painting, Balloon Twisting, Magic, Storytelling with Puppets, Games and Dancing. We provide excellent training and a prospective performer must have:

1. Genuine enthusiasm for working with children
2. Reliability and Professionalism – A child’s party is a very magical day and families put a lot of trust in us to make it a celebration they will always remember as being wonderful!
3. Lots of Energy and the ability to have fun and be silly
4. Natural Creativity
5. Patience

Performances take place all throughout the Bay Area. Each princess performer has a maximum service area of 1 hour from where they live. Schedules are finalized and released the Friday proceeding each weekend. Schedules are designed to reduce drive times as much as possible. Each week is unique and different. Sometimes shows are just 5 or 10 minutes away and other times they can be 45-1hr. The amount of shows fluctuates each week as well. We’re booked up nearly every weekend so usually every performer has at least 1 show and can go up to a maximum of 6. The usual average though is between 1-4 shows every weekend.

Potential Princesses MUST also have:

*Your own reliable car with insurance.
*Availability on most weekends (Sat/Sun)
*Ability to pass a background check.

Strong Applicants may also have all or many of the following:

*Background in the performing arts-acting/singing/dance/cheer or leadership roles.
*Drawing/painting experience or natural artistic ability as prep for face painting.
*Experience formally or informally working with children

Dreamstar Parties is an established company that families and organizations have come to rely upon for top quality party services. Work is steady, fun and well paid. The starting rate of pay is $60 for a 1.5hr show plus we often receive tips averaging $10-$50. We provide all costumes, equipment and training. Competition for the party princess position is fierce. We are very selective about who joins our team. We have an absolutely fantastic family of performers. One of the perks is being able to have fun at princess get togethers.
