San Antonio, TX Casting Calls: Seeking non-union talent for Short Film
Casting Call Details:
A short film is being made on a shoe string budget right here in San Antonio at Downtown locations. We are looking for two roles to be cast.
Young Wife – intelligent, youngish, holds a home job, comfortable in pajamas. Not a sexy role, more of a homebody best friend type. No race requirements (husband is a young white male)
INTERVIEWER – Person in professional attire, interviewing someone for a job. Distant, gruff, a little domineering, would rather be somewhere else. No gender or race distinction.
We are looking for non-union actors here in Texas, hopefully local. We will be submitting this film to SXSW for the Nov. 15th late entry deadline, so filming will most likely be the weekend of September 29th or October 6th, or possible both days. Light comedy, film is to be 7 to eight minutes long. We will be providing excellent food. Auditions will be held this Saturday. Please reply for time and address. Auditions are being held on commercial property, not a residence. Please prepare a 1 minute comedic monologue, and sides and an appointment time will be given to those that respond. Thanks.
