This is a play (not a musical) about the youth and spiritual conversion of LDS prophet and Utah pioneer, Wilford Woodruff. It will be performed at the Wilford Woodruff Farmhouse historical site July 23-24.
2 Audition Locations:
SALT LAKE CITY: 10 am, Saturday, June 2nd. Wilford Woodruff Farmhouse (1604 South 500 East, Salt Lake City). Parking is available at the LDS chapel across the street.
PROVO: 1 pm, Saturday, June 2nd. BYU’s Harris Fine Arts Center (HFAC) room F430.
Casting 12 male, and 2 female roles. Most roles are appropriate for actors ages 19-35, however there are two roles for which we prefer older actors (one age 45+ female role, and one age 60+ male role), and two roles for younger male actors (one age 7-9. and one age 14-17).
Actors will receive monetary remuneration ($10-$100) depending on the role, and on the success of ticket sales.
Rehearsals will be held at the Wilford Woodruff farmhouse Saturday mornings June 9-July 14, with a dress rehearsal on Sunday, July 22nd. Not every cast member will be required to attend every rehearsal. We can also work out a carpool.
