Lunacy Stageworks is holding auditions for upcoming production of “The Women of Troy”

Lunacy Stageworks in Portland Oregon is holding Auditions on July 25th and 26th for our upcoming production of “The Women of Troy,” an original adaptation by Elisabeth Harvey, Directed by Glenn McCumber. This production will begin rehearsals Monday, August 31st and will open October 2nd. There will be a four week run, wrapping up on October 24th.
“The Women of Troy,” is the blending of Euripides Trojan Women and Hecuba. We are looking to cast an ensemble consisting of 5 female characters and 5 male characters. There is a possibility that some of these roles will be double cast. We are looking for actors of all ages. The compensation is to be determined at this point but will be settled on before rehearsals begin.
We would like you to come prepared with a monologue from a classical piece, preferably a Greek piece but it is not required. Auditions will be held at the Sellwood Masonic Lodge (7126 SE Milwaukie Ave Portland, 97202) beginning at 11am. Sunday the 26th we will be holding callbacks.
