Short Film “The Tarantino Complex” Casting Call (Scottsdale, AZ)
We’re casting for the lead character of the short film: “The Tarantino Complex”. Female – 24-28- Blond hair – 2 day work on April 2010. Small pay.
The audition for the lead character is a 2 page cold reading of the script with the director: Viknesh Silva and myself, Jene Becker ( writer and producer ).
The story: The Tarantino Complex is a 10-15 minute comedy about three screenwriters trying to write a script together, but their different personalities keep affecting the story and their two main characters in it: Sophie and Peter.
Sophie’s character: Sophie is a virtual woman ( she’s the product of one screenwriter’s fantasy ). Robot-like at first, she becomes more human and maternal when she becomes pregnant.
