Philly Girlz is a series designed for lesbian women of color. It will appeal to those viewers who enjoy realistic dramatic storylines, with a slice of laughter, because sometimes life situations can be comedic, a mist of tears: which will cleanse the soul and a taste of sensuality with an edge.

The most impressive plot line of the show is a combination of the various real-life structures of the six main characters. STAR, DEVON, TAYLOR, DORIAN, BRE, and ANGEL which will have their stories thrown into a mix like:

• Bre’s nervous breakdown and her addiction to prescription medication.
• Devon’s struggle with trust and loving someone new.
• Star’s strained relationship with her Ex-husband and their pregnant sixteen year old daughter.
• Angel’s constant infidelity and struggle to break free from the code-dependent relationships she has with her family and her girl.
• Dorian’s sex addition and her discovery of her true self.
• Taylor dealing with her mother’s jealously.

These and other branch-off situations will provide sufficient narrative threads to keep the viewers involved as they identify with the major characters.

Philly Girlz will be based on “Girl Friends fallin’ for the L word while having sex in the city.” There will also be a series of flashbacks which will fill in the back story of the major characters. The flashbacks will range in from the 70’s -90’s.
