Description:
Ralph is a frumpy, Jewish Danny Devito type who loves his coddling mother very much. Ralph is naturally awkward, but is a decent guy. His self-conscious nature ends up being contrasted with his lost fighting skills. (Some stage fighting experience preferred, not required) Ralph is clever, but is struggling with an overwhelming case of “writer’s block” and no idea how to solve the problem. This puts him in a scary place when one of his characters comes to life and threatens to kill him if he doesn’t write him better.
FLORIDA
Lead / Male / Caucasian, Multi-Ethnic / 30 – 40 years
Description:
Florida is rough and tough cliché of movie machismo. Florida is equally comfortable the role of the bad ass in the western or as the no nonsense cop. He is the physical manifestation of a poorly written character from the mind of Ralph Horowitz. He is angry he’s being written poorly and refuses to simply accept it any longer.

Flossie a big woman is a serious bodybuilding powerlifter, and just as important to her, she is a doting Jewish mother. She splits time between training, drinking protein shakes and taking care of her son: The awkward, would be writer Ralph.
