Casting call for Chapman University student film “Imagine”
I am an upper division film student at Chapman University directing my
advanced production film at the end of March. “Imagine” is a
psychological drama, and will be shot professionally on 16mm film
stock. Actors/actresses will receive screen credit, a copy of the
film to add to their professional reel and meals during the shoot.
The shoot will last three days, from March 20-22, and will be filmed
locally in Orange County. After post production in spring, the film
will premiere at a special screening at Chapman University and will be
sent to local film festivals.
Logline:
A technologically savvy woman finds herself shrouded in delusion on
the most important day of her life.
Cast:
Alisa- A modern young professional filled with dreams, spunk, and
spirit. She is lost in the world of her own dreams and fantasies,
until greeted by a harsh reality check.Female, ages (25-40)
Reporter- A professional news anchor who reports live. Amiable,
charismatic, and ready to deliver the news to the people. Male, ages
(25-65)
CEO Carl Swatson- The executive CEO of a global corporation. He rules
with an iron fist, and believes that his new product has transformed
the world into utopia.Male, ages (25-65)
Extras:
Elderly Woman. Female, ages 60+
This is a great experience for actors looking to work on a
professional set and receive film credit for their professional reel.
