This silly 60’s comedy is a demented and twisted parody loosely based on the well known novel by Jaqueline Suzanne. The tale is of a girl, Lana, who leaves the comfort of her Vermont home to find herself in the big city of New York. She meets many talented people, including Stevie, a bright starlet with a big downfall of drug use. Lana also meets Tiger, the sexy agent who gets her motor running.
The characters go on a wild ride driven by greed, drugs, and a quest for fame, and a few of them get there, but with a price.
Seeking: 13 players, 7 women, 6 men
* Note: Some singing may be required. Actors should be at least 18 yrs old.
Lana Bells: LEADING LADY. 20.
Mr. Bellview/ Ogilvie/Mac the Drunk: Loud, big, comical male role. To play 40-60’s.
Inez/Nurse Higgins: Snide, female role.
Tiger Bedfellow: SEXY LEADING MAN. 30’s
Lonnie Pilar: Smooth, charming supporting male. 30’s.
Muriel Pilar: Strange sexual tendencies. Good female comic. 30.
Stevie O’Mara: CUTE ENGEUNE GONE BAD. 20’s.
Janette: The Body. 20-30’s.
Stella Dawson/Blanche: The Bitch. To play 50-60’s.
Stud Casablanca/ Dean Martin/Jean- Claude Duvalier: Sophisticated male. 30’s.
Eve St. John/Script Girl/Susie Starr: Very cute, seductive girl. 20’s.
Plus, a few other roles to be played by versatile actors/actresses.

There is no pay, but an opportunity to perform great comedic roles.
