Young, Rich & Pretty: Auditions for a New Musical Comedy (NYC)
A new musical comedy that follows the lives of three young people in the 1920s. In a time of decadence and excess three unlikely friends unite in search of an authentic way of life. Funny and heartwarming.
This is a non-union “book in hand” reading. No stipends are available for this workshop. Performers with musical training & tap dance history encouraged to submit.

The following roles are available:
Truman:
Our hero. A young man of 19-21 years. Attractive, intelligent and all American in an unassuming way. Tenor
Washington:
A young man of 19-21 years. Confident and confused by any situation which may yield less than ideal consequences for his own well being. Spoiled and wealthy beyond conceit, fun-loving and gregarious. West Virginian Accent. Baritone
Kismine:
Washington’s younger sister 16-18 years. Beautiful, well breed and spoiled. She uses her men as cats use a mouse. Slight West Virginian Accent. Soprano
The Graces:
A chorus of narrators to play large roles: alto/low-soprano, tenor & baritone roles available. Must be able to sing harmony.
