Urgent Casting Call for NYU Grad Student Short Film, shooting Thursday 7/16 in Greenwich Village New York, NY
CASE & POINT- NYU Grad Student Short Film needs 2 ACTORS
Shoot will be short and intimate, lasting from 2-5 PM on Thursday
(7/16) in Greenwich Village townhouse (NYC), but we can be flexible
depending on schedules. Single location 3 set ups.
Actors will be fed but not paid.
SYNOPSIS:
Case and Point is a 2-3 minute silent short comedy about a young drug
runner who shows up at the home office of a renown dealer to pay for a
briefcase full of drugs. The runner pays the boss, expecting a quick
transaction but the boss has something else in mind.
CHARACTERS NEEDED:
THE BOSS- 40’s and exuding success of a shady variety. He made his
money the wrong way and spends it the wrong way as well. He has
lavish surroundings and a knack for making people squirm.
THE RUNNER- Young looking, any ethnicity. This is a kid, lowest of the
low in the drug world, who needs to get this deal right. He’s
entering a world he does not understand and will find unexpected
twists and turns of this particular deal.
