4 Non-Union Actors for Five Flights
tongue in cheek theater productions (funny. seriously) seeks 2 actors and 2 actresses (non-union) for Five Flights by Adam Bock, directed by Merete Muenter. Jake Lipman, producer and artistic director.

A comedy about family, birds, inheritance, and fear of commitment.

Production details:
Rehearses midtown Manhattan, Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons starting July 31 through September (except Labor Day weekend). Please do not submit if you are unavailable to rehearse these dates/times.

Three performances: Thursday-Saturday, September 18-20, 2008 at the Producers’ Club Crowne Theatre (Midtown).

Casting:
Tom: 20s/early 30s. Openly gay, optimistic, pro hockey player who loves ballet. (Actor must be comfortable with same-sex kissing.)
Andre: 20s/early 30s. Tom’s good friend and fellow pro hockey player. Cheerful, passionate about life, Lithuanian (possible accent).
Olivia: 30s-early 40s. Determined to establish a church for birds and the people who love them.
Adele: 20s/early 30s. Easily led by Olivia’s zeal, torn between her family members over an inheritance.
