Spiegalion Theatre is holding auditions for a staged reading of the new musical Camp Rolling Hills. Book and lyrics by David Spiegel; Music and lyrics by Adam Spiegel; Directed by Rachel Robinson; Music Directed by Adam Spiegel; Produced by Carrie Arnold & Craig T. Wood. Rehearsals begin in early November. In addition to the staged reading, selections from Camp Rolling Hills will also be part of Golden Fleece Ltd., The Composers Chamber Theatre’s 2008 Square One Series on November 18.

SEEKING: Versatile male actors, excellent singers who move well, 18 and up, all types and ethnicities, with a great sense of humor. Actors do not need to look young, but do need to successfully be able to embody the spirit of a 12-year-old boy at summer camp.

JUSTIN – the leader of the boys
MATT – the 2nd year camper
MIKEY – the temper, recently dumped by his girlfriend.
PLAY DOUGH – the chubby kid turned matchmaker.
SMELLY – the new kid, doesn’t like his new nickname, parents are going through a messy divorce.
STEINBERG – the nerd
RICK – The boys’ counselor
BJ – The head counselor at Camp Rolling Hills

Auditions will be held by appointment for male singer/actors on Saturday, November 4th from 11:30 am – 1 pm at Baruch Performing Arts Center. 55 Lexington Avenue (Enter on East 25th St.), New York, NY.

Please prepare a short uptempo musical theatre song that shows range and personality. Bring sheet music in the appropriate key and bring your book. An accompanist will be provided. Bring a current headshot/resume, stapled together.
