Six Male Actors Needed For Student Film Project
Project Description: “Fortune’s Fools” is a crime-drama where a group of cops conspire to cash in a lottery ticket that they stole from a junkie that also serves as their prime snitch.
I did not write this script, but this is one of the scripts that we were given in one of my film classes, and we are currently asked to adapt a scene from it. The script is a bit over-the-top and ridiculous, but I’d like to play it straight.
Rehearsal/Audition Date and Location: February 7th, 2009. Purchase College, 735 Anderson Hill Road, Purchase, New York.
Shooting Date and Location: February 8th, 2009. Executive Billiards, 109 Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains, New York (tentative).
Since I’m only shooting one scene from it, the shoot will only be one day, on February 8th, 2009. However, for those that are interested, I would like to come to Purchase College for a rehearsal/audition on February 7th, 2009.
Characters Needed:
Jack McNeil
Cop, in his 30’s. The main protagonist, the good guy.
Roy
Cop, in his 50’s. A man that all seem to respect.
Nicky
Cop, in his 30’s. Slick and cocky. The most crooked in the group.
Ryan
Cop, in his 50’s. Bitter, and the 2nd most crooked in the group.
Palmer
Cop, in his 40’s. A follower, not a leader.
Reggie
Junkie/snitch, in his 20’s. Black.
No pay, but food will be provided.
