Shruzoo Productions is casting for the new One-Act Play “Suspicious Minds”
SHRUZOO PRODUCTIONS is casting for the new One-Act Play “SUSPICIOUS MINDS”. A laugh-out-loud comedy about relationships, richly layered in colorful humor. Production personnel include: *Joseph Sturek: Producer, *Tommy South: Casting Director, *Joe Turci: Casting Director, *Written and Directed by Joseph Sturek. Production rehearsals begin August 17th in New York City. Performing dates will be the second week of September (Evenings) in NYC. This play will be one of two “One-Acts” preformed with an intermission between them, both written and directed by *Joseph Sturek.
Seeking: *SHAUN (Mid to late 20’s) A fast talking, self-centered frat-boy type that hides his insecurities and vulnerabilities behind his amusing and raunchy humor, *JESSICA (Mid to late 20’s) A sexual, in-your-face, vigorous young woman who’s surprisingly crude and colorful remarks only enhance her strikingly sexual presence. Her vulgarity should sound as if it were Shakespeare, or poetry rippling off her lips, *MIKEY (Mid to late 20’s) A soft-spoken, easy going guy who wishes he had more control over the things he can not control, *DEB (Mid to late 20’s) A soft-spoken, girl-next-door-like young woman who wears her heart on her sleeve, and fights for what she believes in.
AUDITIONS/SUBMISSIONS: Auditions for “SUSPICIOUS MINDS” will be held in New York City WED, August 5th and THURSDAY, August 6th at 353 Studios located 353 West 48th Street between 8th and 9th Ave. Evenings from 6pm to 9pm. Copies of the “Sides” will be at the audition before you go in so you can look them over. Please have on you at least ONE headshot with resume.
