Seeking submissions from Non-AEA performers for an upcoming Casino production of Smokey Joe’s Café
Jersey Shore Productions is seeking submissions from Non-AEA performers for an upcoming Casino production of Smokey Joe’s Café. Director/Choreograp her Donna Daniels. Smokey Joe’s Café is a revue featuring the songs of Lieber and Stoller. Contract will run from early October through end of November. Seeking 4 African American male singers who move well; 1 non African American male to sing several songs made famous by Elvis Presley; 1 sexy non African American female dancer singer, 1 sexy female African American singer/dancer; 1 female rock singer who moves; 1 African American female singer to sing in the gospel/belt style. All perfomrers are very strong singers in the style of 50’s and 60’s rock and roll.
Auditions will be by invitation on August 18th. Video or DVD may be accepted if you are out of town.
