Shakespeare’ s greatest comedy set in the world of 19th century Coney Island. Lost lovers, wild eyed fairies, and a motley crew of actors collide with Dreamland, Luna Park, Steeplechase, circus freaks, showgirls, mermaids, jugglers, fun/terror! All performances and rehearsals at the historic Old Stone House at J.J. Byrne Park in Park Slope, NY.

We’re looking for 20 generous, high energy, professional actors with Shakespearean experience to be part of our company. Strong language skills required. Circus Skills an extreme bonus! Buskers/Jugglers/ stilt walkers/flame eaters encouraged. All races, ages, and body types encouraged to participate.

Time Commitment:

Rehearsal June 15 - July 9. Mostly evenings and weekends.
Performances: July 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19
with possible extension to July 24, 25, or 26.

3 Guest Equity Contracts
17 Non Union Roles open. Honorarium of 200 dollars.

Auditions: Sunday. June 6
Equity 12:00 - 2:00 p.m.
Non Equity 2:00 - 7:00

Please prepare at least one humorous classic monologue.
