The Municipal Abattoir a student thesis, based on a play by Tennessee Williams is casting actors.
The short film is a dystopia, where a regimen has taken over.It focuses in George’s journey to the Abattoir (slaughter house) where he has been condemned, but his life changes when he meets Eric who is part of the resistance and shows George other options.
3 Non-Union Breakdowns:
Female / 51-60 yrs. / Any Ethnicity.
Aura- She works for the government and takes away George’s daughter.
Female / 18-24 yrs. / Any Ethnicity.
Alice- Eric’s girlfriend, she is part of the cause but she knows Eric might die.
Female / 31-40 yrs. / Any Ethnicity.
Allison- George’s wife, housewife,. There’s a sea between them that grows deeper as her daughter is taken away from her.
