Harry: LEAD: late 20’s to 30s Harry is an disconnected New Yorker with the desire to break out of his monotonous routine. Actor needs look and ability to start insecure introverted and become the ‘leading man’.

Joe Pizetti - 50’s or 60’s Joe is a two layered character. On the outset, Joe seems to be a reckless, hedonistic, party animal leading a life of debauchery. He is seen drinking copious amounts of alcohol, coveting with beautiful young women half his age and making wise cracks any chance he gets. On the other hand, Joe has an other-worldly side to him hidden behind a pair of eyes that suggests lifetimes of experience and compassion. Solely for the purpose of teaching Harry (protagonist) valuable lessons, Joe creates the illusion of being a wild man thus mirroring Harry’s own inner desire for self-expression.

jack: late 20s 30s. A go-getter, industry hustler. Jack has dreams of ‘making it big’ and will stop at nothing to get there. Jack is a creative director for Jack is a fast talker, quick on his feet, stylish, and cocky.

Edwards: 40’s, sly and conniving. A foe of Jack. Edwards wants to be the one to head up the big ad campaign with the GAP. He will stop at nothing to snatch it away from Jack and Harry.

Nelson: Older, in his 50’s or 60’s. Blue collar office janitor, loves to talk about sports. Very persistent to the point of annoying. He just wants some attention. Nelson’s actor doubles as “Director” in an alternate reality, in which he is an experienced film director, passionate about his work and nurturing of his actors.

Female / 31-40 yrs. / Indian.
Dr. Singh: 40’s or 50’s. Of Indian origin, grew up in a posh neighborhood of Bombay and studied medicine in England, now works for a pharmaceutical lab in New York. She is dry towards others, but compassionate of their struggle towards enlightenment. Interested in finding a shortcut towards enlightenment in the form of a pill.

Female / 41-50 yrs. / Any Ethnicity.
Pat: 40’s or 50’s. A no crap taking business entrepreneur. A woman who built her advertising company from the ground up. Now, a veteran in the ad business surrounded by young upstarts. No qualms in putting extreme pressure on others to perform their best for the company.

Male / 61+ yrs. / Indian.
Baba Das: Ageless holy man from India, enlightened spiritual master. Appears serene yet intense. At times crazy, his mind is not in this world. Actor should be in late 50’s or 60’s. Strong presence without having to speak.

Male / Any yrs. / Black - Caribbean.
Rastafarian Ted: Jamaican Rastafarian. Laid back neighbor, content with his spirituality and continually offers Harry the opportunity to smoke with him. Possibly double as “Assistant Director” in alternate reality, where he is highly stressed, animated, and calling shots on a film set.
