Seeking NYC actors for low budget graduation film “Eat Meat”

Kat Moon (Writer/Director) is casting ‘Eat Meat,’ a sci-fi short about a daughter of a corrupt dictator starting an underground revolutionary movement to overthrow her father. Will be shot on 35mm film and HD. Location shoot in mid September 2008. Studio shoot Oct 7 to 21 2008.

Auditions will be held at the end of August in Manhattan. Please email pix and resumes by Aug 21 to filmmaker.kat@gmail.com. If you have a showreel or website, please also send. This is a low budget graduation film for the London Film School. Meals, travel expenses (public transport), copy, credit; all main actors will get a percentage of any profits garnered, less production costs.

Margot Greenfield: early 30s, hair/eyes don’t matter, a bit unhinged at the onset but finds confidence, daughter of wealthy dictator, LEAD. Any Ethnicity.

Sophie: early 30s, married with a kid, hit hard by husband’s disappearance and son being taken away from her by the state, best friend of LEAD, supporting role. Any Ethnicity.

Kei: mid 30s, hair/eyes don’t matter, plump and unassuming, cheeseball who uses jokes to downplay his intelligence, friend of LEAD, supporting role. Any Ethnicity.

Johnny: late 30s, blue eyes, mysterious, ruggedly handsome, exudes confidence, head of revolutionary movement, supporting role Caucasian.

Chief Greenfield: late 50’s, hair/eyes don’t matter but must match his daughter, lanky, authoritative, dictator and father of Margot. Any Ethnicity.
