Free Casting Calls and Auditions

For a Telugu TV serial to be shot during September on locations in and around New York/New Jersey. We are looking for actors for the following roles.

South Asian speaking and non-speaking roles

1. Community organization President: South Asian Male, Preferably tall, 50 years – 1 day
2. Neighborhood Kid – Female, 3-4 years – 3-4 days
3. Neighborhood kid’s mom – Female – 35 years – 2 days
4. Sujitha’s friend: Female, 22 years, preferably a classical dancer – 3 days
5. Sujitha’s Dance classmatesx4 – Female – 22-24 years preferably kuchipudi dancers – 1 day
6. Mother-in-law: Female, 45 years, Telugu/South Indian
American speaking roles
1. Senator: Male about 40 years, African American, 6 feet, well built – 6 days shoot
2. Police Officerx2 – Male, Americans – 1 day
3. Neighborhood kid’s father: Male, 40 years, American – 2 days

General non-speaking roles

1. Receptionist: Female, American, 30 years – 1 day
2. Office staff member: Male, 30 years – 1 day
3. House Owner: Male, 50 years – 1 day
4. Key shop man: Male, 30 years – 1 day
5. Doctor: Male, 40 years- 1 day
6. Receptionist No. 2: Female, American, 30 years – 1 day
7. Stranger in Street: Male, African-American, 30 years – 1 day
8. Attorneyx2: Male, American 1 day
9. Senator Assistantx2: Male, African-Americans, Tall and well built – 4 days
10. Cemetery Grounds man: Male, American – 1 day
11. Shopping Mall clerkx2: Male, American – 1 day
12. Ambulance Driverx2: Male, Americans – 1 day

Please note that this is not a Union job and pay is $100 a day for speaking roles and $75 for non-speaking and roles that have minimum lines.
