Ten Second Exposure - Always organized, unemotional Rebecca cruises through her monotonous life until the day she gets a call from Nancy Montgomery, the mother of her estranged childhood best friend, JOE. Rebecca is invited to join Nancy and her husband John at their home in Long Island to celebrate Joe’s 28th birthday. Rebecca reluctantly arrives to find that Joe has been living jobless off her parents, suffering from depression for the past nine months, and had no idea Rebecca was even invited.

Non-Union Breakdowns:
LEAD - [REBECCA SCHWARTZ] female, 27. about as exciting as her job in Ad Sales. Takes Nancy up on her invitation to celebrate her estranged best friend’s 28th birthday with her on Long Island. Her initial judgement and subsequent acceptance of Joe’s depression forces Rebecca to take a more scrutinizing look at her own stagnant life.

LEAD - [JOE MONTGOMERY] female, 27-28, depressed and living with her retired parents in Long Island. Joe sells off pieces of her childhood in an effort to reshape her life, or forget her past. At first she hates when Rebecca shows up for her birthday, but through her she is finally able to find some happiness of her own.

SUPPORTING - [NANCY MONTGOMERY] female, 50s, Joe’s mother. She unfortunately get labelled the bad guy more often than not. She is the glue that holds the family together.

SUPPORTING - [JOHN MONTGOMERY] male, 59, Joe’s father. John is Joe’s sweet enabler. He loves being both father and friend to Joe, even when it puts unnecessary strain on his marriage to Nancy.
