Non-Equity Open Call for M/F Actors/Singers who Move Well
Rehearsal: Begins October 27
Performance opens: November 17 at DR2 Theatre, NYC (Runs through January 25 w/possible extension thru February 16)

Seeking Non-Union Actors who Sing & Move Well:

- Edwina: Female, any ethnicity, 18+ who plays a 13 year old. Belt w/ a high mix, low Ab to high G (High C a bonus). She is an advice giver extraordinaire and the director/choreograp her/star of the Spoonapple Repertory Theatre. Talent should be versatile and able to show a great sense of humor (impressions and/or characters a plus).

- Becky: Female, any ethnicity, 18+. Mix and legit to high C. She is Edwina’s enthusiastic best friend, a cheerleader. Talent should be versatile and able to show a great sense of humor (impressions and/or characters a plus).

- Billy: Male, any ethnicity, 18+. Comedic baritenor to low F#/G. Edwina’s friend, part of the Vanderplook triplets. Talent should be versatile and able to show a great sense of humor (impressions and/or characters a plus).

- Cordell & Lars: Males, any ethnicity, 18+. Billy’s triplet brothers. Talent should be versatile and able to show a great sense of humor (impressions and/or characters a plus).

- Kelli: Female, any ethnicity, 18+. Mix to high C. She is Edwina’s cool and sophisticated ballerina next-door neighbor, who also triples as Katie Spoonapple, Edwina’s little sister, a math whiz; and Ann Van Buren, a talent scout. Talent should be versatile and able to show a great sense of humor (impressions and/or characters a plus).

- Bobby: Male, any ethnicity, 18+. Tenor, low B to hi G or G#, Edwina’s new friend, recently moved to the neighborhood. Talent should be versatile and able to show a great sense of humor (impressions and/or characters a plus).

- Annie: Female, any ethnicity, 18+. Belt w/mix, low G to high G. Edwina’s friend, and girl-scout cookie selling champion. Talent should be versatile and able to show a great sense of humor (impressions and/or characters a plus).

- Scott: Male, any ethnicity, 18+. High tenor, must have hi A. Edwina’s friend, shy and helplessly in love with Edwina. Talent should be versatile and able to show a great sense of humor (impressions and/or characters a plus).

- Myra/Myron Spoonapple: Male or female, any ethnicity, 18+. Edwina’s older sister/brother and musical director of the Spoonapple Rep (possibly doubles as Musical Director). Talent should be versatile and able to show a great sense of humor (impressions and/or characters a plus).

- Joe Spoonapple: Male, any ethnicity, 18+. Edwina’s older brother (possibly doubles as Percussionist) . Talent should be versatile and able to show a great sense of humor (impressions and/or characters a plus).

Please prepare 16 bars of a musical theatre song with sheet music in the appropriate key that shows off range and personality, and bring your book. All auditioning MUST bring sheet music for a piano accompanist and a current headshot/resume, stapled together.
