Seeking Non-Equity men for the Off-Broadway production of “Flanagan’s Wake” (Pay/NYC)
Seeking Non-Equity men for the Off –Broadway production of FLANAGAN’S WAKE, an audience interactive Irish wake with music. Please note: this is NOT a musical, but rather a show with some music.
All characters must have a good, natural sounding Irish dialect, ability to sing on key with a piano, and comfort with basic improv and audience interaction.
SEEKING:
MAYOR: Age 35-60, must have basic knowledge of music (to lead musical moments in the show), be comfortable playing improv games, and be affable, friendly, and experienced enough to drive the pace of the show.
BRIAN: Age 25-45, must be a decent singer who is unafraid to improvise, must be charismatic, with a big, fun energy.
MICKEY: Age 25-40, must be a decent singer who is unafraid to improvise, and be able to (with Mayor) drive the pace of the show. Mickey is a little more cerebral than Brian.
Auditions held Say Oct 16th and Sun Oct 17th in a Times Square theater.
Actors are not required to prepare a song for auditions, but we may ask you to sing something from the score, which will be taught as part of the audition process. No ability to read music is necessary!
