Seeking:
Non-Equity African American Male Actor, mid-Late 20s/Early 30s.
For the Role of Luke: Grad Student, Liberal, intellectual with a dry
sense of humor. Should have a strong presence.
Rising Sun Performance Company in association with David Anthony &
Horse TRADE Theater Group is casting for the NYC Stage Premiere (film
to stage adaptation) of Dan Rosen’s Major Motion Film The Last Supper.
This is a long term project to be developed over the course of 2010
starting with an Off-Off Broadway workshop production in April 2010
with plans for a fully staged production later in the year.
Seeking a strong actor who is a flexible team player with an ensemble
aesthetic and understanding of Off-Off Broadway/Indie Theatre.
Ideally the cast should be interested in being part of a long term
project with hopes for larger development and opportunities.
Rehearsals January 25th thru April: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday
Evenings 9-11:30PM and Saturday days (Additional rehearsals as
needed in April).
Performances begin as a weekly open ended run, April 21st Wednesday nights at the Red Room.
No Pay, profit sharing possible depending on success of performances.
By Appointment: January 13th thru January 16th
Call backs: Sunday January 17th 11AM to 4PM
Prepare 2 short contrasting contemporary monologues
