Lexington Avenue) NYC , of full-length play, 2550 STAR PLACE:

Mary - female, 20’s - early 30’s, Caucasian, singer, waitress

George/Professor - male, 50’s, Jewish, college (philosophy)
professor, widower

Inday (pronounced IN - DYE) - female, 50’s, Filipino/Asian, café
owner

Marjorie - female, African-American, 50’s, Registered Nurse

Terry - male, 20’s - early 30’s, African-American, entertainment
industry producer/talent manager, Marjorie’s live-in boyfriend

William/Mr. Robinson - male, 50’s, African-American, self-made
millionaire/ entrepreneur, Marjorie’s ex-husband

Ma - female, 60’s - 80’s, Jewish, George’s mother, upscale
widow

Juan - male, 20’ - early 30’s, Latino, entertainment industry
producer/talent manager, Terry’s business partner, Mary’s dating
partner

The theme of this full-length play is 25-year olds dating 50-year olds within a
cafe setting. Auditions will take place June 16 and June 17 (call-backs June 21) and
rehearsals will start shortly after show is cast. Producer is Brief Acts Company of RCL Writers’ Workshop. Actors will receive a modest stipend and the show is Non-Equity. Writer is Marjorie Edwards, RN and Director is Carole-Khan White.
