Seeking actors for the NYC premiere of The Bus Stop
Theatre HAN, LLC, the up-and-coming off-off-broadway company, is casting the NYC premiere of The Bus Stop by Gao Xingjian (Nobel Prize Winner in Literature, 2000)
Alice Oh, prod.; Samantha Shechtman, dir.
Runs March 26-April 19 at the Sanford Meisner Theatre in NYC.
Seeking:
Carpenter: 45 years old, Any ethnicity, skilled artisan who is not appreciated for his talent. He is repared for every situation. Struggling to get buy. Very angry at the world. Laments the fact that his kind is becoming extinct.
Hothead:19 years old. Any ethnicity, Small town boy with no goals. Rebel without a cause, he is very angry and doesn’t really know why. Going on his first trip to the big city
Rehearsal begins on 2/23.
