“Postal Police”, Directed by Grayson Kelly,
Undergrad, New York University
Super 16mm, approx. 8mins
Shooting Dates - October 10th, 11th, 12th.
Comedy: Michael, a lazy officer on a fictional police force called the ‘postal police,’ gets a revelation and wants to change his apathetic ways and make something of his life. He gets exactly what he wishes for when he spots and tries to bring down Jimmy Hoffa. Set in Manhattan.
(Brian) - Michael’s new intern from Hong Kong. The two make a hilarious duo as they go through their crazy day together. Brian is timid, being new to the force. Most of Brian’s comedy comes from lines that he himself does not know are funny. Asian
(Homeless man/ Jimmy Hoffa) - Makes Michael think differently about his work ethic. Ironically, by doing this, Michael realizes that he could very well be Jimmy Hoffa. Anywhere from Late 50’s to late 70’s. Preferably of Italian Decent,
