Seeking actors for student film “Duet” (NYC)

Ledi Lalaj (director) is casting “Duet” a 7-10 min student film, shot in HD, for SVA’s “The Project Class”, instructed by Bob Giraldi. Shoot in New York.

The movie is about a lonely, young, and edgy artist, Stephanie, living in New York, who gives a special importance to certain found objects, and she collects them. One day she finds an old photo of a baby in the street, and decides to find the person who it belongs to. While she is searching for the person in the picture, she runs into Mick, who she ends up spending the most wired and fortuitous day of her life with.

Seeking:

Stephanie: Mid 20s to early 30s woman, English speaking, with or without an accent, very artsy looking, meaning some sort of stylish hair cut, pretty/interesting face features, great body.

Mick: Mid 20s to mid 30s man, English speaking, with or without an accent. He has to look like a street musician, meaning he should have a street look, kind of long hair, a tough guy, great body.

Little Mary: A 8-12 year old girl. Long hair, preferably curly. She needs to know how to jump rope.

Shoots: Mid – end of January ’10 in NYC, Coney island, Astoria.
