Seeking actors for stageplay
Buffalo Soldier Films is now looking to cast the stageplay ‘If Only Yesterday’.
The story is about a women who gets to know her estranged father through his Alzheimer flashbacks, and realizes there is more to the man she new as being strict and overbearing growing up.
We will be looking for most actors to play several characters in the stageplay as time will be shifting on stage.
There are several other parts not listed for both male and female actors of different races and ethnicities.
Non Union Characters:
Male / 31-40 yrs. / African American.
Charlie Horton - Father Easy going personality the increasingly gets harsher as he gets older. Drastic mood swings when he develops Alzheimer’s.
Female / 31-40 yrs. / African American.
Dual Role Sharon/Susie -Daughter in the present/wife in the past to Charlie. Sharon is bitter and distant in her relationships. Susie is strong and rarely shows her vulnerability.
Male / 31-40 yrs. / African American.
Joe Baby - Charlie’s best friend. He is an ageing former lady’s man in the present and the life of the party womanizer in the past.
Female / 31-40 yrs. / African American.
Nurse Barbara / Bobbi / Yogi
Male / 41-50 yrs. / African American.
Dr. Jones / Mr. Johnson
Male / 31-40 yrs. / African American.

Dual Role Dr. Whitmore/ Mr. Friedman Dr. Whitmore is Charlies doctor in the present. Mr. Friedman is Charlies former fast talking boss in the past.
