Seeking actors for short student movie shot on 16mm “NOIR”
Augustin Doublet (director) is casting “Noir”, a thirteen minute short film for The Brooklyn College.
NOIR is the story of Diana, a beautiful artist, submits herself to strange role playing according to the plan and desires of Anton, an older married man.
Jealous but totaly obsessed by him she descends into a noire love-hate relationship.
Prey of his dark fancies, voluntary victim of his scenerios, she exposes herself both mentally and physically to increasing danger.
Although she uses these extreme experiences as inspiration in her artwork, she becomes more and more vulnerable.
The border between play and reality, passion and pain, art and violence gradually disappears.
The short film will be shot on 16mm in Brooklyn. Shooting begins mid November 09.
SEEKING:
Diana: late 20s-to-mid-30s, Caucasian, black hair, attractive. She’s a passionate artist obsessed by Anton. Impulsive and very expressive.
Anton: late 30s-to-late-40s, Caucasian, good looking gentleman, rich and maried lawyer. Manipulator and cold-blood style.
